Template builder - corner edge issue

Hey everyone,

Have a quick query that someone may be able to help me with. I've been building out some templates and would like to corner the edge of some of the text blocks I have placed in the email. There appears to be an option to corner the very outer edge of the block, but not the inner edge (white background block) ... see screenshot.

Any suggestions on a work around would be greatly appreciated :-)

  • ok thanks for trying. i've emailed support also so if i get a fix I will share it here.

  • Oh PeytonFNM, that's an interesting angle. Will take a look in the morning and see if that is a viable fix. Thanks for the suggestion 👍

You're welcome! If that doesn't work, I think the only other option might be to use custom HTML as mentioned before.

  • Not sure if this is what you meant, but just in case:

    Choose the row settings,
add a border and make sure it’s the same color as the background color of the content area,
and add rounded corners to the border.

    I’ve attached an example image.

  • Hey LiorPeleg

Thanks for the response.Yes, the example you have given is for the exterior border of the email template. I'm referring to cases where you have a second block within the email and a white background and i want to corner those edges. Doesn't seem possible to do!

Hey timarmstead, I'm wondering if you could you use an image for this? For example, Braze has one hosted here where the corners are rounded.

I'm thinking you can add an image similar to the one in the link, but with transparent corners to create the rounded look. Then, you can layer that image on top of your second block.

I don't think there is a functionality within Braze that can do this right now.

      I understand.
      Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s possible.

I assume you can achieve this using custom HTML instead of regular text block.
