Hi Bonfire community! đ 2025 is here, and thereâs no better time than the new year to launch an updated ranking and badging system. This year, weâre excited to recognize your contributions in Bonfire more effectively. Hereâs whatâs changing: Ranking Updates Ranking in our community is based on your level of engagementâthe more you participate, the higher your rank. As you advance, you'll unlock additional rewards. Weâre simplifying the structure to make advancement more achievable. Plus, weâve updated the rank names to reflect your accomplishments as you progress. Who doesnât want to be an Expert? đ Hereâs the updated rank structure: New Member Member Contributor Connector Collaborator Supporter Influencer Mentor Expert Visionary Each of these ranks corresponds to activity and engagement levels within the community. The initial ranks emphasize your passive participation, such as sign-ins, page views, and likes. As you progress to higher ranks, you'll achieve them through more active participation, through accepting solutions, replying to discussions, and creating blogs. Below are some answers to questions we anticipate you may have related to these changes. What happens to my current rank status? Donât worry - you wonât lose your hard earned status within the community with these changes. Your rank will update based on where you fall within the updated ranking structure and updated corresponding rank name. Where can I see my rank? Your rank will appear as a rank badge next to your username. You can also see your rank on your profile under âRole.â Badging Updates In addition to updating our ranking structure, weâre introducing new badges to recognize how you engage in Bonfire. These badges celebrate your contributions and reward you for the actions you take within the community. Below is a peek into some of the new badges weâre introducing.
