If you're looking for something easy, free, and fun to do your your team, here's something I recently did with the Lifecycle Marketing team here at Braze! A Marketing Scavenger Hunt. It was directly relevant to our jobs, of course, but also taught us a lot of random things about each other. Like that one teammate is very loyal to a particular floss brand, or that another got very into flashlights during COVID 😆. Here are the rules and some of the prompts we used, but it would be super easy to add to this or adapt it for your own team! The Rules: We will scour our own inboxes, push notifications, SMS alerts, social or any other marketing channels we use to find campaigns targeted to us matching the prompts. When you find a match, take a screenshot and add it to the appropriate slide below your name. We’ll have 20 minutes of searching and then come back together to see what we found! Each campaign is worth a different amount of points, depending on the difficulty of finding them! Sample Prompts: Find a campaign with perfect personalization. Find a campaign with bad personalization. Find an Email with a punny subject line. Find an Email or SMS with incredible visuals. Find a campaign that used more than 1 channel. Find a campaign with a terrible CTA. Find a campaign that targeted a niche interest. Find a campaign with a seasonal theme. Find an abandoned cart campaign. Find a welcome email.
