Email Forwards - Measuring them and Reducing Content Changes
Hello,
Recently did some testing with email forwards and noticed a few things,
- Content set to appear only on mobile/desktop both show up in fowarded email version.
- Spacing between content blocks seems to have more whitespace in fowraded email version.
Leads me to two questions,
- Is anyone tracking email forward volume? We are trying to determine whether this content change even matters, so getting a sense of volume would be helpful.
- Any know methods for reduce content changes in forwarded emails? Not sure we need to do anything, but curious if it is possible.
Regards,
Ed

Hello E_Finn Forwarding email can break the content because the clients/ISP breaks the actual HTML and that results in unexpected behavior in rendering for the actual email.
Its completely normal and there is no fix to it because we do not know at what point the HTML will be clipped while forwarding.
