Setting holiday message expectations
Hii Goot ๐ - do you have any tips for keeping your customers informed about what to expect from your brand around the holidays?
Also maybe ideas on how to manage opt ins/outs of specific holiday messages via Braze?
Thanks!

Hey Krisijan!! Thank you for coming!
I have some ideas!
- Send an email! Let users know about your upcoming plans and allow them to get excited with you or pause their subscription/update their preferences/set up special notifications.
- Use another channel! If you have an app or social media presence, or use SMS or push messages, let folks know what you'll be offering, including whether that means an additional influx of emails.
- If you'd rather not be that transparent, you can still give hints to build anticipation without giving everything away. Let people know what dates are especially important for them to check their inboxes/apps/elsewhere.
As far as managing opt ins/outs in Braze, let me tag in my pal LindseySilver! ๐ ๐

Hey Krisijan! Not 100% sure which part you are focusing on for "manage opt ins/outs of specific holiday messages via Braze," but I've seen many clients use email preference centers + subscription groups to manage what type of email content users want to be opted-in and out of. We see some customers do this for holiday, but more so for events such as Mother's Day/ Father's Day. They will send a message before the holiday noting it can be a difficult time and giving you the option to skip communications this year with a CTA button.
