🥜 In a nutshell

Within Picnic, we create every feature, campaign or optimization from the needs and wants of our customer. As a Marketing Intern you enjoy spotting opportunities to improve our current campaigns and support in the execution, from our holiday campaigns (Christmas, Easter) to our famous statistics campaign, activations, recipe campaigns, product promotions and much more. You'll work in our Customer Team, the team responsible for all Picnic’s marketing, customer proposition and experience. You'll support the team by creating campaigns, defining specific customer segments to optimise our communication targeting, operate the store to increase conversion, measure the effect of push messages with A/B tests and create a communication strategy to send the right communications at the right time. After the execution of our marketing campaigns you'll help in analysing results to come up with improvements and identify future opportunities. In this role you'll work closely together with our Customer Communications Coordinators, App Campaign Managers, Analysts and Creatives to ensure all our campaigns are worked out in great detail. 

 

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute both communication- and product marketing campaigns in and out of our app
  • Identify, understand and help define target customer groups to improve our communication effectiveness
  • Connecting with stakeholders of other teams
  • Track, analyse and report on results
  • Support daily app and communication operations
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research, including customer interviews or A/B testing to understand impact

 

About you

  • You’re finishing your Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing Management, Marketing Intelligence, Communication, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Affinity with the online grocery industry
  • Strong emphasis on exactness and thoroughness in campaign delivery
  • Hands-on, analytical and creative team player
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Plus: experience with marketing automation systems (like Selligent or Braze).

Attractive package

We offer €800 gross salary per month for a full-time internship as well as 12.5 vacation days per six months, so you can recharge your batteries.

Work-life balance

Where possible, we like to enable people to work in ways that suit their working styles, which is why we have a hybrid-working model. Our teams generally like to have at least three team day per week at the office (the tasty lunch and Barista-made coffee may be a factor), but besides that, it’s up to you and your team.
